We are currently seeking part-time Assistant Teachers for Young Learners to join
our team at IH Yangon-Mandalay.

 

Position Details

  • Start Date: March 2025
  • Employment Type: Part-time
  •  Location: IH Yangon, Lanmadaw Young Learners Centre
  •  Salary: Competitive and to be discussed during the interview

 

Requirements

  •  Graduate or undergraduate
  •  B2-level English proficiency
  • Experience working with children under 15.
  • Understanding of classroom activities and teaching practices
  • TKT or relevant teaching qualifications (preferred)

 

Key Responsibilities

 Assist the lead teacher in daily lesson planning, preparing materials, setting up
the classroom, conducting classroom activities, and ensuring that learning
objectives are met.
 Supervise children and support them in completing group work, pair work and
individual activities during the class.
 Be aware of individual children's needs and communicate with the lead teacher
to support their physical and emotional well-being.
 Help maintain a safe and secure environment for young learners.
 Help with classroom routines, such as lining up, distributing materials, and tidying
up after activities.
 Assist the lead teacher in preparing homework materials, collecting and
organizing completed work.
